Course description

Mindfulness is the practice of helping individuals become aware of the present moment and what is happening around them as it is experienced. The term "conscious awareness" refers to the ability to open one's perception, notice the thoughts passing through the mind, sense what is felt physically in the body, and remain with the experience and everything in the moment without judgment. The practice aims to equip individuals with the skills to achieve this.

The goal is to help clients develop the ability to regulate their "attention" and "emotions" based on mindful awareness.

This involves helping the individual gain cognitive flexibility by clearing their attention of overwhelming thoughts.

It assists the individual in understanding that staying in the present moment makes life easier and more comprehensible.


For individuals in need of psychotherapy, the training aims to provide support for the following:

  • To become more attentive and focused.
  • To observe better (both physically and psychologically) and gain more information.
  • To remain calm even in stressful situations.
  • To avoid excessive sadness.
  • To slow down rather than rush.
  • To listen to others more effectively.
  • To be more patient.
  • To get along better with others.
  • To feel happier and derive more pleasure from life with the necessary support, enriched with examples and experiences from mindfulness (conscious awareness) practice.
  • This training aims to provide both the therapist and the client with the tools to assist in achieving mindfulness and emotional regulation.
