Course description

A family counseling regulation was published in the Official Gazette on 04.09.2012 with the number 28401. Upon the initiative of the Ministry of Family and Social Policies, the Ministry of National Education published the Family Counseling curriculum on 15.11.2012, bringing this training into practice in Turkey. A comprehensive curriculum was prepared, and training sessions began with extensive evaluations on topics such as relationships between men and women and children.

With this training you will receive from NEWSPDR, you will learn the foundations of family, happy and healthy relationships, the definitions, concepts, and theories in family counseling, marriage law, children's rights, and child psychology in detail.

The goal of family counseling is to address difficult and challenging processes experienced within families and between couples, resolve conflicts, and ensure the healthy change and development of all family members. The aim is to regulate both internal family relationships and relationships with other people and situations.

On 04.09.2012, the Official Gazette (28401) outlined how Family Counseling Centers should be opened. Those wishing to open a Family Counseling Center must obtain a 464-hour Family Counselor Certificate.

With the certificate you will receive at the end of the training, you can open your own Family Counseling Center.
