Course description

THE NEUROSCIENCE OF HAPPINESS

Since the 1990s, we have learned that the fundamental workings of our brain and mind are linked to emotional systems. Our understanding of this subject is growing daily, and we now better comprehend how people, who consider themselves "rational beings," are actually guided by their emotions. In this session, we will discuss how our emotions affect us across a wide range of areas, from daily decisions to mind control, and how we can turn these effects into something beneficial.

COMMUNICATION-EMPATHY-BORDERS

"Communication, Empathy, and Boundaries" - We exist within relationships. From birth to death, we are often hurt and worn down in relationships, but we are also healed through them. What are the misconceptions about empathy, a crucial aspect of human relationships? Do we truly understand others when we say we empathize, or do we internalize their emotions? Can we set boundaries, or do we absorb others' pain? Together, let's explore ways to preserve our psychological health within relationships and how to maintain a sense of happiness.

WHO AM I REALLY? - THE PERSON WHO CAN DISCOVER THEIR ESSENCE

To feel valuable, a person only needs to remember their essence. A person does not lose their value; they forget it. As Eric Fromm states, all the evil and wars in the world stem from un-lived lives. The reason a life becomes unlivable is the loss of the "self." To understand who we are, it is important to embark on a journey of discovering our essence, looking at our past, present, and future. We must understand not only our happiness but also our anger, sadness, shame, fear, and all the emotions in our life story. Together, we will discuss the psychological growth story of humans and who we are at our core.

THE HAPPINESS OF LEARNING

Current educational systems are like fast food: standardized and unhealthy! This approach drains our souls and energy. Instead, everyone needs a personalized "nourishment plan" to bring out their inner talents, dreams, and potential! We need to create conditions that allow individuals to discover their inner gems. We can't keep patching up the old system. We’ve even reached a point where we’re now interviewing three-year-olds to get into a good kindergarten.
