Course description

Objective of the Training:

To gain proficiency in the principles and techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and competence in its application.

Introduction to the Training:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a psychotherapy approach that targets the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors related to psychological problems, or those that contribute to the persistence of these issues. The goal is to improve these elements through awareness gained during the therapy process. The cognitive aspect of CBT addresses an individual’s mental processes, while the behavioral part focuses on the behaviors that sustain the individual’s life.

  • Ellis and Rational Emotive Therapy
  • The Cognitive Triangle and the effect of automatic thoughts
  • Components of the Cognitive Triangle
  • Cognitive therapy techniques, their goals, and practical applications
  • Intricacies of homework assignments in CBT
  • CBT application areas and acquiring implementation skills

Module 2:

  • Supervision and Experiencing CBT Applications

Methods and Techniques of the Training:

The program will include theoretical knowledge transfer, practical role-playing, and application of techniques.
